Web-based knowledge repository and training management system for BPATC, Savar, Dhaka, 2022–2024 — Completed.
The Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC) in Savar, Dhaka is the apex training institution for government civil servants in Bangladesh. Crystal Technology was engaged to develop a comprehensive web-based knowledge repository and training management platform that centralizes institutional knowledge, training materials, research publications, and administrative records into a single, searchable digital ecosystem.
The platform serves as both a knowledge management system and a training administration tool. On the knowledge side, it provides structured document storage with multi-format support, categorized content libraries, version control, and a powerful full-text search engine that allows faculty, trainees, and researchers to quickly locate relevant materials across the entire repository. On the training management side, it handles course scheduling, participant registration, attendance tracking, assessment management, and certificate generation.
Crystal Technology delivered the platform through a collaborative development process involving close engagement with BPATC faculty and administrators to ensure the system aligned with established institutional workflows. The project included user interface design optimized for both desktop and mobile access, backend development with robust security and performance, data migration of existing materials, comprehensive user training, and ongoing technical support.
Structured digital repository supporting multi-format document uploads (PDF, Word, presentations, multimedia), organized with hierarchical categorization, tagging, version history, and access permissions for different user roles.
Full-text search capability across the entire knowledge repository with filters for document type, category, author, date range, and keywords — enabling faculty and trainees to locate relevant materials within seconds.
Comprehensive training administration features including course catalog management, batch scheduling, participant registration and enrollment, attendance tracking, assessment and evaluation tools, and automated certificate generation.
Role-based user management system supporting faculty, trainee, researcher, and administrator profiles with granular permissions controlling content access, upload rights, editing capabilities, and administrative functions.
Built-in reporting engine generating training completion statistics, participant performance summaries, content usage analytics, repository growth metrics, and custom reports for BPATC leadership and planning purposes.
Multi-phase training program for BPATC faculty, IT staff, and administrative personnel covering all platform features, combined with ongoing technical support for bug resolution, feature requests, and system administration guidance.
