Crystal Technology is delivering a full-scale hospital automation solution for the Dakshin Surma Upazila Health Complex (UHC) in Sylhet division. Running from 2024 to 2026, this project brings modern digital healthcare infrastructure to a facility that serves a large rural and semi-urban population in northeastern Bangladesh.
Upazila Health Complexes are the backbone of Bangladesh's primary and secondary healthcare delivery system, providing outpatient services, emergency care, maternal health, and basic inpatient facilities. Digitizing Dakshin Surma UHC enables better patient tracking, faster service delivery, and improved data reporting to district and national health authorities.
The project encompasses the complete technology lifecycle — from software deployment and hardware provisioning to network infrastructure, staff capacity building, and sustained operational support through dedicated on-site IT manpower.

Implementation of a comprehensive hospital management system covering patient registration, outpatient consultations, emergency triage, maternal and child health records, pharmacy operations, and laboratory test management.
Supply and installation of desktop computers, monitors, printers, barcode scanners, and other peripherals across all service delivery points within the health complex to enable digital workflows at every counter.
Design and deployment of a robust local area network connecting all departments, including structured cabling, network switches, Wi-Fi access points, and a centralized server to ensure reliable intra-facility connectivity.
Hands-on training programs for UHC medical officers, nurses, family welfare visitors, pharmacists, lab technicians, and administrative staff, ensuring all personnel can confidently operate the new digital systems.
Deployment of dedicated IT support staff at the health complex to provide day-to-day technical assistance, manage system operations, generate reports, and serve as the first line of troubleshooting for all digital services.
Multi-year maintenance agreement covering software updates, security patches, hardware servicing, network upkeep, data backup management, and remote technical support to ensure sustained system performance.
