Crystal Technology was selected to implement a comprehensive hospital automation system at the Kapasia Upazila Health Complex in Gazipur district. This project brings modern digital infrastructure to a facility serving a large semi-urban and rural population, replacing legacy paper-based processes with an integrated electronic health management platform.
The solution covers the full spectrum of hospital operations — from patient intake and triage at the front desk, through clinical consultations in OPD and emergency departments, to laboratory diagnostics, pharmacy dispensing, inpatient ward management, and financial billing. Each module is interconnected, allowing seamless data flow across departments and eliminating redundant data entry.
Crystal Technology handles all aspects of the deployment including custom software development, structured LAN networking throughout the hospital building, supply and configuration of all computing hardware and peripherals, comprehensive staff training, and provision of on-site IT support personnel for the duration of the project.
Developed and deployed a unified hospital management system with modules for patient registration, OPD, IPD, emergency, billing, laboratory, pharmacy, and inventory — all accessible through a single dashboard interface.
Supplied desktops, monitors, thermal receipt printers, barcode readers, label printers, and UPS units for every department, ensuring each workstation is fully equipped for digital operations.
Designed and installed a complete structured cabling system with managed switches, patch panels, and access points, connecting all hospital departments to a central server for real-time data access.
Conducted role-specific training sessions for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, lab technicians, billing clerks, and hospital administrators on effective use of the automation system in daily workflows.
Stationed qualified IT professionals at the facility to handle day-to-day technical issues, user queries, software configuration changes, and system monitoring to maintain uninterrupted service.
Comprehensive multi-year maintenance agreement covering software updates, hardware servicing, network monitoring, data backup procedures, and preventive maintenance to protect the investment.
