End-to-end hospital automation at the Maternal & Child Health Training Institute, Azimpur, Dhaka — agreement June 2012, completed 2015.
Crystal Technology was engaged to deliver a complete hospital automation solution at the Maternal and Child Health Training Institute (MCHTI) in Azimpur, Dhaka. MCHTI serves a dual role as both a healthcare provider for maternal and child health services and a training center for healthcare professionals in reproductive and pediatric care. The agreement was signed in June 2012.
The project focused on automating the core clinical operations at MCHTI, with particular emphasis on the Registration and Outpatient Department (OPD) modules that handle the highest volume of daily patient interactions. The system was designed to accommodate the specialized workflows of antenatal care, postnatal consultations, pediatric services, family planning, and immunization programs that form MCHTI's primary service offerings.
Crystal Technology delivered the complete solution encompassing custom software development, hardware procurement and installation, structured LAN networking, and comprehensive staff training. The project enabled MCHTI to transition from manual record-keeping to a digital platform, improving data accuracy, reducing patient waiting times, and enabling better tracking of maternal and child health outcomes.
