Automating a specialized national cardiac care center with tailored health IT solutions

The National Center for Control of Rheumatic Fever and Heart Disease (NCCRF&HD) in Dhaka is a specialized government institution dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of rheumatic fever and cardiovascular conditions. Crystal Technology was engaged to deliver a bespoke hospital automation system designed to address the unique clinical and administrative requirements of this nationally significant cardiac care facility.

Unlike general-purpose hospital deployments, this project required specialized software modules tailored to cardiology workflows, including dedicated patient tracking for chronic rheumatic fever cases, cardiac diagnostic test management, long-term follow-up scheduling, and disease registry capabilities. The system also covers standard hospital functions such as OPD management, inpatient services, pharmacy dispensing, laboratory operations, and billing.

Crystal Technology provided the full technology stack — from customized software development and deployment to structured LAN networking, hardware provisioning across clinical and administrative departments, staff training for specialized cardiac workflows, and ongoing maintenance to ensure continuous, reliable operation of all systems.

Complete structured cabling and network infrastructure design connecting consultation rooms, diagnostic labs, wards, pharmacy, billing counters, and the administrative wing to a centralized server environment.

Cardiology Workflow Training

Specialized training programs tailored for cardiologists, cardiac nurses, ECG technicians, and lab staff covering disease-specific digital workflows, patient registry management, and clinical documentation best practices.

Ongoing Technical Maintenance

Comprehensive maintenance services including scheduled software updates, hardware servicing, network performance monitoring, database optimization, and security patching to maintain system integrity and uptime.
