Crystal Technology was engaged to deliver a complete hospital automation solution at the National Institute of Kidney Disease and Urology (NIKDU) in Shyamoli, Dhaka. NIKDU is the country's premier specialized facility for nephrology, urology, and renal transplant services, handling complex cases referred from across the nation. The agreement was signed in June 2012, with hardware delivery completed by December 2012.
The project encompassed custom hospital management software developed specifically for the workflows of a specialized kidney and urology facility, covering patient registration, outpatient consultations, inpatient management, dialysis scheduling, surgical operations, laboratory diagnostics, pharmacy management, billing, and comprehensive reporting for administrative and clinical oversight.
Crystal Technology delivered the full infrastructure stack including hardware procurement and installation across all departments, structured LAN networking to connect clinical and administrative areas, comprehensive staff training programs for medical and non-medical personnel, and dedicated on-site manpower for ongoing system operations and technical support throughout the project period.
