The Automation of the Secretariat Clinic holds a special place in Crystal Technology's history as our very first hospital automation project. Undertaken in 2010-2011, this landmark engagement at the Bangladesh Secretariat in Dhaka established the foundation for what would become our core competency in healthcare IT solutions.
The Secretariat Clinic serves thousands of government employees and officials working within the Bangladesh Secretariat complex. Before automation, the clinic relied entirely on manual processes for patient registration, prescription management, and medical record keeping, leading to long wait times and fragmented patient data.
Crystal Technology designed and deployed a complete hospital management software solution that digitized the clinic's end-to-end operations, from patient arrival and consultation to pharmacy dispensation and follow-up scheduling. This project proved that locally developed software could effectively serve government healthcare facilities and laid the groundwork for our subsequent hospital automation engagements across the country.
