Complete process automation of the district-level hygienic slaughterhouse in Bogura for the Dept. of Livestock Services, 2023–2025 — Ongoing.
Crystal Technology was commissioned by the Department of Livestock Services (DLS) to deliver a full-scale automation solution for the district-level hygienic slaughterhouse in Bogura. This project represents a significant leap in modernizing Bangladesh's livestock processing infrastructure, bringing international hygiene standards and operational efficiency to a critical food safety facility.
The project scope encompasses the entire slaughterhouse operation — from live animal intake and ante-mortem inspection through the slaughter process, carcass handling, cold storage management, and distribution tracking. Crystal Technology designed and deployed an integrated system combining industrial machinery, IoT-enabled sensors for real-time environmental monitoring (temperature, humidity, sanitation levels), and a centralized management software platform that provides complete traceability from animal entry to meat dispatch.
Beyond the technology layer, the project included civil construction and facility upgrades to meet hygienic processing standards, procurement and installation of specialized slaughterhouse machinery, comprehensive training for facility operators and veterinary inspectors, and deployment of on-site technical manpower for sustained operations and maintenance support.
Centralized slaughterhouse management platform covering animal intake registration, ante-mortem inspection records, processing line tracking, cold chain monitoring, distribution management, and full traceability reporting.
Procurement, delivery, and commissioning of specialized slaughterhouse machinery including stunning equipment, overhead rail systems, skinning and evisceration stations, carcass washing systems, and cold storage units.
Deployment of IoT-enabled sensors throughout the facility for real-time monitoring of temperature, humidity, water quality, and sanitation compliance, with automated alerts and data logging for regulatory audit trails.
Civil construction works and facility modifications to meet hygienic slaughterhouse standards, including drainage systems, tile flooring, stainless steel fixtures, ventilation improvements, and waste management infrastructure.
Hands-on training programs for slaughterhouse operators, quality control staff, and veterinary inspectors covering machinery operation, software usage, hygiene protocols, and food safety compliance procedures.
Deployment of on-site technical personnel for daily operations support, combined with a structured maintenance program covering machinery servicing, software updates, IoT device calibration, and infrastructure upkeep.
